Do not let the appliance and the cable come into contact with hot points. 9 Safety when cleaning and maintaining the appliance Make sure the motor and blade have completely stopped before disassembling and cleaning. Don't immerse the motor base, plug or cord in water or any other liquid. For cleaning surfaces in contact with food, please refer to page 12 “Cleaning Section”. This appliance complies with the European Directives for electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) 2004/108/EC and its revisions, as well as Low Voltage Directive (LVD) 2006/95/EC and its revisions. This appliance complies with the WEEE-Directive 2002/96/EC on the disposal of electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE). Protecting the environment At the end of its working life, the product must not be disposed with household waste. It must be taken to a special local authority waste collection centre or to a company providing this service. To keep the juice and pulp from drying on the appliance, clean the top, cones, filter and juice container immediately after use.
