DANGER - To reduce the risk of electric shock: 1. Always unplug the machine from the electrical outlet immediately after using and before cleaning. Replace the bulb with same type rated 15 watts. WARNING - To reduce the risk of burns, fire, electric shock, or injury to persons: 1. Close attention is necessary when the machine is used by or near children. CAUTION Make sure you set the bobbin so the thread unrolls in the right direction. If the thread unrolls in the wrong direction, it may cause the thread tension to be incorrect or break the needle. · You can begin sewing immediately without drawing up the bobbin thread. If you want to draw up the bobbin thread before you start to sew, follow the procedure in "Drawing up the Lower Thread" (page 24). 1 1 Cutter · Make sure that the thread is correctly inserted through the tension-adjusting spring of the bobbin case. You can not use the needle threader if you are using decorative threads or special needles, such as the twin needle and wing needle. When using these needles or threads you will need to thread the needle by hand.
