Documents The ScanFront can scan documents in a range of sizes from business cards to Legal/A4. Place the document face down with its top edge at the bottom of the tray. 1. Adjust the document guides to be wider than the width of the document. 4. Fan the document to offset the pages so that the top edge of the first page is the lowest. 2-6 IMPORTANT Make sure that document stacks placed in the feed tray do not exceed the document guides. IMPORTANT • When folding the document, align the right and left sides and create a sharp, straight fold. Otherwise the document may jam or the image may not be aligned properly. Keep this in mind if there is content such as photos, diagrams, or text that spans the fold. • For Folio scanning, only the Page Separation OFF mode can be used. Otherwise, the image may scan as skewed or shifted. 2 Handling Loading mark Hint • When scanning folded documents, switch the feed selection lever to OFF. 2-5. ) • When placing folded documents, place the document into the scanner so that the fold is on the right side.
