REDIAL PULSE/TONE MIXED DIALING
If you live in a pulse or rotary dialing area, you can use TONE to access a long distance service (i. e. Sprint or MCI), bank by phone, or any other service that requires touchtone dialing from your cordless handset. Press TONE ( ) on the handset to change from pulse to tone mode temporarily when you are dialing.
The TC-1000 remembers the last number you dialed. Every time you dial a new telephone number, the redial memory is updated with that new number.

The TC-1000 is designed to automatically record new messages over old ones. To automatically erase messages, DO NOT press SAVE (key 4) during message playback or within 7 seconds after the last message is heard.

To page the handset from the base unit, the handset must be in the "Standby" mode (the TALK INDICATOR is not lit. )

When the battery pack needs recharging, the LO BATT INDICATOR (Low Battery) on the handset will flash. You may also notice a reduction in the quality of your cordless handset communications. Return the cordless handset to the base unit when the LO BATT INDICATOR is flashing.
NOTE: The batteries can be recharged many times, but if you get a low battery indication even after 12-15 hours of charging, you should replace the battery pack.

with the handset battery pack installed. If it becomes necessary to remove or replace the batteries see page 32.
