The appliance is equipped with baking plates with an anti-stick coating. Make sure that there is enough room around the appliance, so that the heat can escape and the air can circulate. Check the instructions in the section ‘Instructions for cleaning’. When the preheating is done and the appliance is ready for baking, the green light will light up. Pull the plug out of the socket after use and let the appliance cool down completely. When turning on the appliance for the first time, there may be some smoke development and a specific odour during a short period of time. Caution: Do not let the baking plates come into contact with any metal cutlery or other metal objects to avoid damaging of the anti-stick coating. This is how you do the assembling: Locking pin Hole Locking plate Hinge Slot 11 12 13 14 10 Place the 2 locking plates at the bottom of the top baking plate in the top slots of the hinges of the appliance. Make sure that the locking pin clicks into place in the hole at the top of the appliance. Place the 2 locking plates at the top of the bottom baking plate in the bottom slots of the hinges of the appliance. Make sure that the locking pin clicks into place in the hole at the front of the appliance. To remove the baking plates, press the buttons on the sides of the appliance.
