When you press the reverse key at the end of the seam, the machine will sew several locking stitches in place, then stop sewing automatically. #05 Triple stretch stitch: Zigzag foot A This strong, durable stitch is recommended for areas where both elasticity and strength are needed to ensure comfort and durability. Gathering with straight stitches works best on light to medium weight fabrics. Pull on the bobbin threads simultaneously from each end of the fabric until the desired amount is gathered. OR Lay gather fabric over flat fabric and sew the two fabrics together directly on the second row of gathering stitches. Raise the foot, remove the basting stitches from seam line and open the zipper.
