This manual describes how to use your FUJIFILM digital camera and the supplied software. [. . . ] To pause playback, press the selector down; press the selector down again to resume. To delete the panorama, press the selector up (b) when playback is paused. To exit to fullframe playback, press the selector up while panorama playback is in progress. PLAY STOP PAUSE More on Playback 39 Movies Recording Movies Shoot short movies with sound. During recording, z REC and the time remaining will be displayed in the LCD monitor and sound will be recorded via the built-in microphone (be careful not to cover the microphone during recording). REC 12s 1 Press MENU/OK to display the shooting menu and select F MOVIE for A SHOOTING MODE (P 18). Use zoom buttons to frame the subject. 2 Press the shutter button all the way down to start recording. Recording ends automatically when the movie reaches maximum length or memory is full. Select h 1280 (1280 × 720) for an aspect ratio of 16 : 9 (High Definition), f (640 × 480) to record standard definition movies, or g (320 × 240) for longer movies. R Focus, exposure, and white balance are adjusted automatically throughout recording. The color and brightness of the image may vary from that displayed before recording begins. Q Do not open the battery-chamber cover during shooting or saving a movie on a memory card. Failure to observe this precaution could prevent the movie from being played back. Q Vertical or horizontal streaks may appear in movies containing very bright subjects. Q The temperature of the camera may rise if it is used to record movies for an extended period or if the ambient temperature is high. This is normal and does not indicate a malfunction. Movies 41 Viewing Movies During playback, movies are displayed in the LCD monitor as shown at right. The following operations can be performed while a movie is displayed: Description Press the selector down to start playback. If playback is not in progress, pressing the selector up will delete the movie. If playback Advance/ is paused, the movie will advance or rewind one frame rewind each time the selector is pressed.
