Please follow the instructions carefully. Advanced Features -- Movie CAUTION Recording ends when pressing the shutter button down halfway during recording or the remaining time runs out. Halfway pressed MEMO · AF-assist illuminator will fire when the subject is poorly lit. · See p. 107 for information on turning the AF-assist illuminator off. · There is no need to hold down the shutter button during recording. · Because a movie is recorded onto the Memory Card or internal memory as it is saved, it cannot be recorded correctly if the camera suddenly loses power (if the battery runs out or the AC power adapter is disconnected). · A movie file taken by FinePix F40fd / FinePix F45fd may not be playable on other cameras. · Because sound is recorded concurrently with the images, make sure that you do not cover the microphone with a finger, etc. · Camera operation noises may be recorded during movie shooting. 101 r Recording Movies Changing movie size Press p to open the p-MODE MENU.
