Electrical connection or installation Safety precautions This appliance is intended only for domestic use. Switch down to a lower heat setting in good time. Powerboost function Use this function to heat up the contents of the pan faster than if you use the maximum power level (j). This function allows you to increase the maximum power level of the hotplate in use. Use limitations of Powerboost function in (hotplates 1, 3 and 4) This function cannot be activated at the same time in hotplates 3 and 4. If hotplate 4 is switched on, when the Powerboost function is activated in hotplate 3, the indicator in this cooking zone will appear alternately x and j. The Powerboost function will have been deactivated and return to the previously selected power level. In hotplate number 1, the Powerboost function can be activated at any time, so long as the outer cooking zone (number 2) is not working (see picture). Limitations of use of the Powerboost function (hotplate 2) This function can only be activated when the outer zone (number 2) is working and cooking zones 3 and 4 are not activated. 19 If cooking zone 3 or 4 is switched on when the Powerboost function is activated, the zone display will flash x and j alternately before returning to the maximum power level j. The automatic time limit can also be activated using the timer function. The timer function is no longer active after a power cut. Storing the setting You can store one memory event for each hotplate. The hotplate for which the settings are to be recorded must be switched off. 1.
