Always switch off and remove the plug from the socket after use, or before cleaning the appliance or any maintenance task. [. . . ] Removing and cleaning the textile pad Unplug the cleaner from the mains power and ensure the unit has cooled. If necessary remove the carpet glider, then peel the textile pad from the floor base. [13] Wash the textile pad in a washing machine with a mild detergent at max temperature 40°c. IMPORTANT: Do not use bleach or fabric softener when washing the textile pad. Steam mode IMPORTANT: Always unplug the cleaner when adding water or changing a textile pad. NOTE: Always sweep or vacuum the floor prior to use to remove any loose dirt or debris. IMPORTANT: Do not use the cleaner without a textile pad attached to the floor head. Attach textile pad to the base cover, then fix the base cover to main body. [16] Empty the cone filter 2 Lift the filter frame out from the top of the dust cup and remove the filter layers from the filter frame. [17] Wash it in warm water [18], and allow it to dry [19] thoroughly before replacing to the cleaner. To reattach the dust cup cover, align the indicators that are printed on the rear of the dust cup and cover. Turn the cover clockwise and make sure the solid arrows are aligned before reinserting the dust cup into the vacuum. [20] To replace the dust cup in to the unit, gently push the dust cup assembly down and the dust cup will click into place. The best way to understand when to change the mop is when the mop is still dirty after having washed it or if you notice that it doesn’t perform like before.
