Selecting a desired track/passage To select a desired track Press SEARCH/TUNING 4 or ¢ (4 or ¢ search +/­) button repeatedly until the desired track appears on the display. / · To remove the disc, press (0) button, grasp the disc by its edges, and carefully pull it out. / · If playback is stopped, press FWD PLAY 6 (6) button to start playback. · The digit buttons, 0­9 on the remote control unit can also be used to select a track. Insert a USB device to the USB connector on the front panel. Press CD/USB (CD/USB) button to select USB mode. / · To ensure good system performance; wait until the unit completely reads the disc/USB device before proceeding. · If the disc compartment is not loaded with a disc, "NO DISC" is displayed. · If the disc is unreadable or there is no playable audio file in the USB device, "NO DATA" is displayed. · For audio files, reading time may exceed 10 seconds due to the large number of songs compiled into one disc/USB device. · For audio files, "A" on the display represents ALBUM. · For audio files, the total album number on the display indicates the number of all the albums recorded in the disc/ USB device. · The icon "MP3" appears only when an MP3-file is played. This may occur even when the sound is not played or recorded from/to the USB device. When playing or recording from/to the USB device, removing it or turning the power off may corrupt the sound source and get it unplayable. To search for a particular passage during playback Press and hold SEARCH/TUNING 4 or ¢ (4 or ¢ search +/­) button for more than 3 seconds. Press the FWD PLAY 6 (6) button when the desired passage is located. EN11 Using the CD/MP3-CD/WMA-CD/USB device Selecting a desired album/file (For audio file only) To select a desired album Press P. CALL/ALBUM 5 or (p. call/album up or down) button until the desired album number appears on the display during playback. "Axxx" indicates album number and "xxx" indicates the file number. Programming tracks Programming tracks of a disc is possible when playback is stopped. Up to 60 tracks can be stored in the memory in any order. 1 To select a desired file Press SEARCH/TUNING 4 or ¢ (4 or ¢ search +/­) button repeatedly until the desired file from the current album appears on the display during playback. "Axxx" indicates album number and "xxx" indicates the file number. In stop mode, press P. MODE button to enter program setting. The icon "PGM" and "­ ­ P­01" appears on the display. "­ ­" indicates track number and "P­01" indicates program number. Press SEARCH/TUNING 4 or ¢ (4 or ¢ search +/­) button to select the desired track. The track number returns to "­ ­" and the next program number appears on the display. [. . . ] Anyone wishing to copy commercially available tapes or disc should contact the mechanical copyright protection society limited or the performing rights society limited. 20 EN EN21 In case of difficulty Resetting the Microcomputer The microcomputer may malfunction (unit cannot be operated, or shows an erroneous display) if the power cord is unplugged while the power is ON, or due to some other external factor. If this happens, execute the following procedure to reset the microcomputer and return the unit to its normal operating condition. When the power is on and TUNER input is selected, press and hold down the (7 stop) button on the unit for more than 2 seconds. Unplug the AC cord and plug it back in if "INIT. OK" is appears. · Please note that resetting the microcomputer will clear the contents of the memory and return the unit to the state it was in when it left the factory.
