[. . . ] (See "Reminders" on page 124. ) 97 Messages--Text From the new message notification: Press READ (+) To open the message (or your text message inbox if there are multiple messages) As memory space for storing messages gets close to full, the X (message waiting) indicator flashes and your phone displays Memory is Low!When no more messages can be stored, your phone displays Memory is Full!To receive these new messages, you must delete some existing messages from your inbox, outbox, or drafts folder. Reading, Locking, or Deleting a Text Message You can open your text message inbox to read, lock, or delete messages at any time. The oldest messages are deleted automatically as specified by the inbox cleanup setting (see "Setting Up the Text Message Inbox" on page 96). If you want to save a message, you should lock it to prevent it from being deleted during cleanup. Find the Feature M > Messages > Text Msgs 98 Messages--Text Press 1S To scroll to the message you want (d = unread and urgent, n = read, f = read and locked) open the message close the message without changes delete the message open the Text Msg Menu to perform other procedures as described in the following list 2 READ (+) 3 SAVE (-) or DELETE (+) or M The Text Msg Menu includes the following options: Option Call Back Description Call the number listed in the message header or embedded in the message text. Launch the micro-browser and go to a Web address (URL) embedded in the message. Open a new text message, with the message's Reply To number or email address in the To field. 99 Go To Reply Messages--Text Option Forward Lock/Unlock Store Number Delete or Delete All Store Address Description Open a copy of the text message, with an empty To field. Open a new phonebook entry with the message's embedded number in the No. Press Yes (-) to confirm the deletion. Open a new phonebook entry with the message's embedded email address in the Email field. Setup Open the text message inbox setup menu. Sending a Text Message You can create and send a text message to one or more recipients. The text message feature lets you manually enter each recipient's phone number or email address, or select one or more numbers/addresses from the phonebook or recent calls lists. Note: When you manually enter phone numbers and/or email addresses in the To field, you must insert a space between each 100 Messages--Text phone number/address. Sending a Quick Note Text Message Quick notes are short, pre-written text messages that you can select, edit, and send quickly (for example, Meet me at . . . ).
