This accessory provides an alternative way for you to use your phone without using your handset. You can: · use your phone as a modem to connect to the Internet · send and receive both email and SMS text messages · synchronize your Phonebook and Datebook Setting Automatic Answer You can set your phone to automatically answer calls after 2 rings (4 seconds) when connected to the Easy-Install Hands-Free Kit or a phone headset. Find the Feature M > Settings > Other Settings > Car Settings or Headset > Auto Answer Installing the Software Install the software from the mobile PhoneTools® CD-ROM. Note: This software is required to transfer data between your phone and an external device. Setting Automatic Handsfree You can set up your phone to automatically route calls to the Easy-Install Hands-Free Kit when it detects a connection. Find the Feature M > Settings Connecting the Cable Important: Make sure to install the mobile PhoneTools software before connecting your phone to a computer. Attach a Motorola OriginalTM USB cable to the phone and computer as follows.
