[. . . ] To set the primary contact for a name, see page 74. 33 Learning to Use Your Phone Push to Talk Calls Push to Talk is a two-way feature that lets you talk walkietalkie style with other Push to Talk subscribers. You can have a one-to-one call with an individual, or have a group call with multiple people at the same time. You can place a Push to Talk call by: · Selecting an individual contact or group from your PTT Contacts list · Selecting a contact from your Dialed Calls, Received Calls, or Phonebook lists Push to Talk Calls 34 · Entering a Push to Talk number from the keypad One-to-One Calls You can place a one-to-one call to an individual contact. A call to an individual may be placed as an alert call or a barge call. · An alert call sends a call alert tone and notification message to inform the individual of your incoming call. · A barge call lets you talk immediately to the call recipient, without sending a call alert tone or notification message. Group Calls A group call (one to many) connects you to all available members of a group. A group call is always placed and received as a barge call, without a call alert tone or notification message.
