Tone Controls Tone Control Ring Or Vib Sel Press 1 time Ringer Style X 79 Fthen Phone Book Press 2 times Setting Keypad Tones Keypad tones are the sounds you hear when you press any key on the phone. If you want to be discreet, use this feature to silence the audio feedback from the keypad. Note: The other party will still hear tones. You can keep your personal information intact and restrict call placement while lending your phone to other people. Press to toggle the feature on or off. Lock Secure Theft AlrmOff Press 1 time Locking the Phone Manually You can lock your phone manually at any time to help prevent unwanted use. Once locked, you can leave your phone on or turn it off and the phone remains locked. You will see: Locked Auto LockOff Unlocking the Phone Tip: If you have forgotten your lock code, try pressing 1, 2, 3 or the last three digits of your cellular phone number. Once your phone is on, just enter your three-digit lock code to unlock your phone. (See "Viewing Your Lock Code" on page 87 for instructions on how to display your lock code. ) You can still receive calls when the phone is locked. Press S to receive the call. 84 Activating Emergency Call With Emergency Call on, you can use the Turbo DialTM function to dial the important number that you stored in memory location 01 even when the phone is locked. Press Keep in Mind: Your emergency call number must be stored in memory location 01. Some cellular systems have their own emergency numbers and do not allow access to emergency numbers like 911. With Theft Alarm on, you need to unlock the phone before placing an emergency call.
