[. . . ] H CLOCK BUTTON Press to switch between Clock with Seconds and Clock with Day of the Week display modes. N ANTENNA External antenna for radio. POWER REQUIREMENTS The RRM-112A operates on four AA-sized (UM3) batteries--two for clock operation and two for radio. To insert the batteries, follow the polarities shown inside the battery compartment and press [RESET]. The clock and radio have separate low-battery indicators. Change the batteries accordingly when the respective indicator lights up. Note: Unlock the latch on the back of the unit before lifting up the LCD panel. An AC Power Adapter is included. [. . . ] Other causes for signal interference include electrical power transmission towers, steel reinfoced concrete construction, and/or metal siding. Due to the density of other signal broadcasts, the strongest signals are received between midnight and 4 AM. 4 HOW TO ENABLE OR DISABLE AUTO-RECEPTION To disable the automatic signal reception feature, hold down [ZONE] for 2 seconds. The [ ] will disappear and the RRM112A will not receive signal from the US Atomic Clock. Note: The radio needs to be off before disengaging the signal reception feature. To activate the signal reception feature again, hold down the ] signal [ VOLUME + ] button for two seconds. The [ will start blinking to initiate reception automatically. When the automatic reception feature is active, manual settings will be over-ridden by next signal recepttion. 6. Follow the same procedure to set the year, month, day and the display language (English, French and Spanish). If changes are made after the minute adjustment, the seconds will reset and start from zero. The unit will also save all changes and return to normal display automatically after the unit has been left idle for 1 minute. HOW TO SET THE ALARM 1. Select between Beep-Alarm-On, Radio-Alarm-On and AlarmOff mode by pressing the [ ON / OFF ] button. To manually set the RRM-112, the clock needs to be in normal time display mode. Press [CLOCK] for two seconds and the hours digits will start flashing. If the Radio Alarm-On mode has been selected, press [AM / FM] to select the correct frequency and then [STATION] to select the radio station. In Beep Alarm-On mode, a 2-minute crescendo alarm will sound when alarm is active. In Radio Alarm-On mode, the radio will remain on for 2-hours before turning off automatically if not manually deactivate. GB GB Note: Steps 7~10 will not operate if there is no battery for the radio. To change the volume, use VOLUME [ + ] / [ - ] . To select a programmed channel, press [STATION] To turn off the radio, press [RADIO]. HOW TO USE THE ALARM Press the[ ON/OFF]. To activate or deactivate an alarm, when the alarm is not active the [ ] will not be displayed. AUTO SEARCH FUNCTION The RRM112A is equipped with the Auto Search function; the unit will automatically search for the next clear channel. Press and hold TUNING [ function, ] /[ ] to activate the auto search SNOOZE FUNCTION When the snooze function is activated, the alarm will be muted temporarily and set off again after eight minutes. Note: User may release the key during the tuning process SECTION 3 THE RADIO HOW TO PROGRAM A CHANNEL HOW TO USE THE RADIO To turn on the radio, press [RADIO].
