The [A Rec. Mode] menu appears.
Use the four-way controller (23) to select [Quality Level]. Press the four-way controller (5).
A pull-down menu appears.

Storage capacity for the selected quality level is displayed when the Quality Level setting is changed.

The Quality Level setting is saved.

The camera returns to capture status with the current setting.

You can take pictures in natural colors by adjusting the white balance according to the light conditions at the time of shooting. Use this mode when taking pictures under electric or other tungsten light. Use this mode when adjusting the white balance manually.

The [A Rec. Mode] menu appears.
Use the four-way controller (23) to select [White Balance]. White Balance
The White Balance screen appears.

Use the four-way controller (23) to change the setting. Press the 4 button.
The White Balance setting is saved.

The camera returns to capture status with the current setting. Refer to "Manual Setting" (p. 87) for instructions on adjusting the white balance manually.
If you use the [White Balance] function frequently, you can save time by assigning it to the Green button. (p. 55)

Manual Setting Have a blank sheet of white paper or similar material for White balance adjustment ready beforehand.

In the White balance screen, use the four-way controller (23) to select K (Manual). Point the camera at the blank sheet of white paper or similar material for White balance adjustment so that it fits the frame at the center of the LCD monitor. Press the shutter release button fully.
The white balance is automatically adjusted.
