Using a Wide Angle Conversion Lens (Optional)
The L-WC17 wide angle conversion lens is available as an optional accessory. (1p. 133) Simply screwing this useful accessory onto the front of the camera provides a wide angle equivalent to 28. 5 mm on a 35 mm camera.
· The L-WC17 wide angle conversion lens is designed for use with the camera zoom at the maximum wide position (w). Using the lens with the zoom in the x position will result in poor quality images and is not recommended. · Do not use a filter with the wide angle conversion lens as this may cause vignetting in the corners of the picture. · Vignetting may occur at the bottom of the picture if the camera is too close to the subject when using the built-in flash. In that case, use it with the camera zoom at the maximum wide position (w) as in Still Picture mode.
