Press the shutter release button halfway.

The focus frame on the display will light green when the camera is in focus.
Press the shutter release button fully.
Pictures are taken continuously while pressing the shutter release button. Shooting stops when you release the shutter release button.
· You can continue shooting until the SD Memory Card or the builtin memory is full. · The interval will vary depending on the Recorded Pixels and Quality Level settings. · Under the following conditions, the continuous shooting interval becomes longer. - When the sensitivity is 1600 - When using Intelligent Zoom - When using Digital SR mode, Natural Skin Tone mode, HalfLength Portrait mode, or Night mode - When using D-Range Compensation - When using Date Imprint · The flash will not discharge in Continuous Shooting mode. · Continuous shooting is not available in Movie and Frame Composite mode. · The focus, exposure and white balance are determined in the first frame.

You can switch the Drive mode to Multi-exposure mode. You can overlap multiple frames while creating a single picture.

Press the four-way controller (2) in Capture mode. Drive Mode Use the four way controller (23) to Multi-exposure specify the number of shots.
You can specify between 2 and 9 pictureshots.

Press the OK button. Press the shutter release button halfway.
The focus frame on the display will light green when the camera is in focus.
Press the shutter release button fully. Repeat step 5 and 6 for the specified number of shots.
· When you select , you can use (2 sec. Self-timer), which enables you to take a picture two seconds after the shutter release button is pressed, or use the Remote Control (optional) to release the shutter, to reduce camera shake and blurring. · To cancel Multi-exposure shooting halfway, change the Drive mode. · When you cancel Multi-exposure shooting before the specified number of shots are taken, the pictures already taken will not be recorded. · When shooting in Multi-exposure mode, the recorded pixels are fixed to 5M. (When using the Half-length Portrait together with Multi-exposure, the recorded pixels are fixed to 3M. )

Changing the Magnification Using the Remote Control Unit You can not only shoot images with the shutter release button, but also change the zoom magnification with the zoom button using the remote control unit E (optional).
