[. . . ] Stira&Aspira TOP has a suction function, to avoid creases on the clothing, so common with traditional ironing boards. The suction function also facilitates the ironing of creases in trouserlegs or pleats. The surface has a heating function too, drying clothes and making ironing even smoother, quicker and less tiring. [. . . ] · Activate the automatic closing hook lever (B) only if the board is resting horizontally on the ground; pay attention during board opening and closing procedures and always guide the board up from the floor. · If in the future you need replace the ironing board fabric cover or the lining, always be sure that the replacement is permeable to humidity. · WARNING: The heated surface reaches high temperatures both on and under the cloth, so take care not to touch it. It is now possible to activate blowing and suction features: AIRING: By pushing the function switch (F) on position (I), the board will allow you to swell the clothes with a "hot blow", in order to be able to gently skim with the iron the most delicate clothes, ironing them with steam only. SUCTION: By pushing the function switch (F) on position (II), the board will hold the clothes to the surface and eliminate the residual humidity. Notice: To avoid condensation forming inside the board, please ALWAYS use the suction function during steam ironing. CLOSING 1c. NOTICE: before putting away the board, leave the board heating (D) switched on for a few minutes so as to dry out any possible condensation formed during the ironing. Pull upwards the opening lever (B), always holding the board surface (A) during closing. Now the equipment can be put away. I M P O R TA N T · If repairs or replacement parts are required, use only original Polti replacement parts. · If it is necessary to replace the power supply cable, please refer to the nearest Polti authorised service centre, since the use of special tool is necessary. · In the case of breakdown or malfunction do not attempt to repair the appliance yourself but refer to your nearest authorised service centre. TO OPEN THE BOARD 1a. Pull upwards the opening lever (B) and raise the board to the required height, holding the surface (A).
