I M P O R TA N T Before leaving our factory all our products are rigorously tested. This is the reason why your VAPORELLA may contain some residual water in the boiler. Open the roller shutter cover (13) by moving it downwards as shown (fig. Pull the tank cap (1) upwards and fill the tank with about 1 litre of water, making sure that it does not overflow (fig. 3). RECOMMENDED TECHNIQUE for STEAM ironing with Polti iron is to APPLY steam (button 10) on the upstroke, then release button (10) (so no steam) for the backstroke, so reclosing the fibres, preventing oversteaming and wetness. FILLING THE BOILER Thanks to the self-filling function, there is no longer any need to stop and wait to fill up the boiler again. When the water inside the boiler reaches its low level, the thermostat will automatically activate a pump that will fill the boiler from the tank. If the steam is not issued at the steam request and the indicator light (4) lights up at the same time, it means that there is no more water in the tank. [. . . ]
