Manually open or close an Internet connection You can open or close an Internet connection manually. If for example you deactivated Auto Connect when you configured your Internet access, Internet applications (such as your browser or email application) will not automatically open a connection when they are launched. In this case, you will have to open the connection manually when it is required and also close it again when you are finished with it. Opening and closing an Internet connection manually: N Open the router's start screen as described on page 45.
