[. . . ] Place all parts after cleaning. Before using your fridge • When it is operated for the first time or after transportation, keep your fridge in the upright position for 3 hours and plug it on to allow efficient operation. • Your fridge may have a smell when it is operated for the first time; the smell will fade away when your fridge starts to cool. EN - 4 - PART - 2. THE VARIOUS FUNCTION AND POSSIBILITIES Thermostat setting • Thermostat automatically regulates the inside temperature of the refrigerator compartment and freezer compartment. By rotating the knob from position 1 to 5, colder temperatures can be obtained. «0» position shows thermostat is closed and no cooling will be avaible. • For short-term storage of food in the freezer compartment, you can set the knob between 1 and 3 position. • For long-term storage of food in the freezer compartment, you can set knop 3-4 position. Warnings for Temperature Settings • The ambiant temperature, temperature of the freshly stored food and how often the door is opened, affects the temperature in the refrigerator compartment. • It is not recommended that you operate your fridge in environments colder than 10°C in terms of its efficiency. • The thermostat setting should be done by taking into consideration how often the fresh food and freezer doors are opened and closed, how much food is stored in the refrigerator, and the environment in which the refrigerator is located. • Your fridge should be operated up to 24 hours according to the ambient temperature without interruption after being plugged in to be completely cooled. Do not open doors of your fridge frequently and do not place much food inside it in this period. • A 5 minute delaying function is applied to prevent damage to the compressor of your fridge, when you take the plug off and then plug it on again to operate it or when an energy breakdown occurs. • Your fridge is designed to operate in the ambient temperature intervals stated in the standards, according to the climate class stated in the information label. It is not recommended that your fridge is operated in the environments which are out of the stated temperature intervals in terms of cooling efficiency. EN - 5 Climate Ambient Temperature (°C) Class Between 16 and 43 (°C) T Between 16 and 38 (°C) ST Between 16 and 32 (°C) N Between 10 and 32 (°C) SN Super freeze and low ambient switch (If super switch is available) a) Super freezing: If ambient temparature is more than 16°C, This switch can be used as superfreeze switch. Super freeze switch should be used for freezing the fresh food or when the lamp on the head panel is ON. (Lamp on the head panel becomes ON when there is insufficient cooling). So after you get the cold condition (or the lamp on the head panel is off) you must return to previous position. At the ambient temperature more than 18°C, if superfreezing function doesn't want to be used, it must always be set to OFF position. b) Low ambient performance: • Normally set this switch to ' ' position. Except when the ambient temperature is low like in winter (ie. below 16°C) or when the freezer temperature needs to be maintained lower. They could puncture the refrigerator circuit and cause irreparable damage to the unit. EN - 7 - PART - 3. ARRANGING FOOD IN THE APPLIANCE Refrigerator compartment • To reduce humidity and consequent increase of frost never place liquids in unsealed containers in the refrigerator. Frost tends to concentrate in the coldest parts of the evaporator and in time will require more frequent defrosting. [. . . ] • Carry your fridge in the upright positio. ( In some models) You can reposition the doors of your fridge. Contact nearest Authorized service for this. Repositioning the door EN - 11 - PART - 6.
