In the event, promptly switch off and remove the molten material with the scraper provided while the top is still warm to prevent it from being damaged. Failure to instantly clean the glazed ceramic hob could lead to encrustations which are impossible to remove once the hob has cooled down. Beware of children in the vicinity as the signal lamps indicating residual heat are out of sight to them. In fact, even after having been turned off, the cooking hob remains hot for a certain period of time. Remove any burnt residues after cooking with the scraper provided; rinse with water and wipe dry with a clean cloth.
