One convenient RDS service is "Enhanced Other Networks" (or "EON"). This allows the unit to automatically switch to a programme type of your choice when one starts in your broadcast area. To receive the Enhanced Other Networks (EON) programmes When your amplifier is connected to a Sony tuner with the EON CONTROL system, the amplifier switches to any EON programme that is broadcast in your EON area, and switches back to the last selected programme source when the programme ends.
