On the remote control's back, push the tab and lift off the battery cover. 4. Aim the remote control at the device and press POWER once. If it does not respond, repeat steps 2-3, trying each code for your brand until you find one that works. If it still does not work, try Searching For Your Code. If your TV/DVD does not respond, repeat steps 2-4, trying each code listed for your brand until you find the one that operates your TV/DVD. 2. Your One For All 4 Devices is now programmed to operate your TV/DVD. Write your TV/DVD code for future reference. Remember, if you want to use your One For All 4 Devices to operate your TV/DVD, press the DVD key first. 3. Use the Manufacturer's Codes (starting on page 12) to locate the type of device and brand name and then enter the first four-digit code for your component. QXD 5/2/06 3:09 PM Page 7 SEARCHING FOR YOUR CODE If your device does not respond to the remote control after trying all codes listed for your brand, or if your brand is not listed at all, try searching for your code. Press and hold SET until the LED blinks twice, then release SET. 4. CHANGING VOLUME LOCK The One For All 4 Devices is set to control the volume of your TV in the TV, VCR, CBL/SAT, and DVD modes. If you want the volume to be controlled by a mode other than TV (e. g. , CBL/SAT), change the Volume Lock as follows: To Change Volume Lock To Another Mode: 1.
