[. . . ] Vexilar Ice-Ducer® Instructions
The Ice-Ducer system provides a quick and easy way to set up the transducer for ice fishing. [. . . ] Install the Stop by passing the Transducer cord through the slit in the side of the Stop. Install the Float between the Stop and the Transducer in the same way. Adjust the Stop to allow the Transducer to float at the desired depth. Keep at least 2" between the Transducer and Float in order to make sure that the it will hang straight. Try not to hang it below the bottom of the ice, as this can cause tangling problems when bringing in a fish. Many Vexilar ice fishing packs also come with a support arm or eye that you can use in place of the Float. [. . . ] Also, if fishing line gets wrapped around it, use caution when unwrapping or the line can cut the cord insulation.
