The wash programme will start at the set time. Off button “Half Load” button Programme selection button This function can be used with any programme. Load the racks Select a programme Select options Press the Start button The selected programme is then memorised (even in the event of power failure). Turn on the water tap close the dishwasher door Wash cycle - Only open the dishwasher if necessary (Warning: beware of hot steam). - If the appliance is switched off during a wash cycle, when switched on again it will resume the cycle from where it was interrupted. Unload the appliance, starting from the lower rack. Switch off the appliance Turn off the water tap, unload the racks CAP/II/FD/GB Dishwasher loading instructions and racks provided Upper rack: Fold down glass holder (A): Depending on the position, for example small or longstemmed glasses. Crockery holders (B): Depending on the position, for example plates, cups and long-stemmed glasses. Half Load: If the upper rack only is to be loaded, place the cutlery basket (C) in the upper rack. Rack height adjustment (also when loaded): Lower adjustment: Pull the two rack handles (D) outwards and lower the rack. Pull the two rack handles (D) upwards until the rack clicks into place (factory setting). Upper adjustment: The rack must be level on both sides. Lower rack: Plate holders (E). Greater washing power, particularly for plates and saucepans. Cutlery basket (F): Some models are provided with a grid (G) that can be fitted onto the cutlery basket to keep items separate. Sharp knives and forks that might cause injury must be placed in the cutlery basket with the handles positioned upwards. Do not use the appliance for items not suitable for washing in a dishwasher, for example wooden items, aluminium, plastic utensils, tin, hand-decorated crockery (unglazed), silver cutlery. What to do if. . . If a fault occurs, before contacting our After-Sales Service, make the following checks to try and remedy the problem (* see also the corresponding chapter in the user instructions). Problem The appliance is not working Cause • No water supply. • Open the tap. Remedy • Clean the water supply tap filter. Check the domestic circuit fuse. • Starting the selected programme. • The programme can be set to “0” to start. • Remove any impurities obstructing the water flow *. If crockery is not perfectly dry If crockery is not perfectly clean • Insufficient rinse aid. • Spray arm nozzles clogged. • Incorrect detergent/detergent too old. • Use a good quality detergent. Sandy or grainy residues • Clogged filters. • Filters incorrectly assembled. • Check filters regularly/if necessary clean *. • Depending on the material, if necessary use a detergent with a greater whitening power. Colour of plastic parts faded Deposits on crockery • removable • Tomato/carrot juice, . . . • Streaks on the crockery/glasses.
