Neither of these configurations will harm the BBE 882. 5 LIVE APPLICATION: NON-POWERED MIXER Connect the BBE 882 to the output of the mixing console. The output of the BBE will drive either a crossover or a power amplifier directly. (If an equalizer is being used, refer to "BBE and Equalization" section under "General Operation. ") 6 LIVE APPLICATION: POWERED MIXER There are a couple of ways to configure the BBE 882 into a powered mixer. The ideal method would be into "Pre-Amp Out/Power Amp In" section of the console. [. . . ] With DVM set to AC volts, measure the channel A [B] 1/4" jack output. With the process "IN", DVM should read -9dBu (+/-1dBu) and the Process "IN" LED should be on. With the Process "OUT", DVM should read -10dBu (+/-1dBu) and the Process "OUT" LED should be on. Return both channels Process and Lo Contour controls to minimum (C. C. W. ). [. . . ]
