Fresh fruit and vegetables should be cleaned and stored in the crispers. This can temporarily lead to excessive cooling of the refrigeration compartment. When freezing fresh food, keep the thermostat knob at medium position. Loosen frozen trays with a spoon handle or a similar implement; never use sharp-edged objects such as knives or forks. To start the defrosting procedure, switch off the appliance at the socket outlet and pull out the mains plug. All food should be wrapped in several layers of newspaper and stored in a cool place (e.
