Detailed instructions for use are in the User's Guide.

[. . . ] This largely avoids heavy transient current surges, and means that electrical safety cut-out devices are not generally tripped (building sites, domestic premises). After switching on, the IPC electronic system run-up mode takes the grinder's speed up to the pre-set required value (Setting 1 . After this is reached, the IPC system speed control mode keeps the grinder operating at a constant speed. If this is exceeded; the operating current is limited, the tool switches off and prevents the motor from burning out. [. . . ] never us the tool on materials containing asbestos or poisonous substances. For safety reasons this tool must always be used with the auxiliary handle in place. The adjustable disc guard cover must always be in place when working with grinding or cutting discs. Use the vacuum dust extraction facility if your work generates high amounts of dust. Check that the speed given on the discs is greater or equal to the rated speed of the angle grinder. Only bring the angle grinder into contact with the workpiece after it has been switched on. Take note of the direction of rotation and always hold the angle grinder in such a way that the sparks and grinding debris are thrown away from your body. Always bear in mind that sparks will be generated when working on metals. Make sure that nobody is placed in any danger and that there are no inflammable materials in the area (risk of fire). Make sure that the dimensions of the disc are suitable for the angle grinder and that the disc is of a type that fits properly on to the stub shaft end . Only use approved fibre-reinforced cutting discs or depressed grinding discs approved for use at circumferential speeds of not less than 80 m/s. If danger arises, pull the mains plug immediately out of the mains socket. Ensure that the tool and the mains plug are easily accessible and can be reached quickly in an emergency. for the best grinding performance move the angle grinder evenly to and fro over the workpiece maintaining an angle of 15° to 30° (between grinding disc and workpiece). When working on inclined surfaces do not press the grinder harder on to the workpiece. If the tool suddenly stops due to it becoming retarded or trapped, pull the mains plug from the socket immediately. Do not advance the angle grinder so much that it comes to a standstill. Do not use the tool if you cannot concentrate or you are feeling unwell. Do not allow the cutting disc to become trapped as this can lead to kickback. if the cutting disc becomes trapped , switch the tool off immediately. Grinding and cutting discs get hot during use let them cool before touching. Always check carefully that the workpiece you are about to work on is properly held and supported where this is not ensured by its selfweight.
