USING ThE MANUAL CRUSTY COOk MODE
Normally when cooking in microwave oven, using grill or microwave mode in grill/ convection ovens, foods like pastries and pizza become soggy from bottom side. Using the Samsung Crusty plate helps to gain a crispy cookde result of your food. 04 OVEN USE
Crusty plate on turntable
Crusty plate + High rack
1. Before using the crusty plate, preheat it by selecting the combination mode for 3 to 5 minutes: · Combinationofconvection(180°C)andmicrowaves. (600Wpowerlevel). Use oven gloves at all times as the crusty plate will become very hot. Brush the plate with oil if you are cooking food, such as bacon and eggs, in order to brown the food nicely. · Pleasenotethatthecrustyplatehasateflonlayerwhichisnotscratchresistant. · Useplasticaccessoriestoavoidscratchesonthesurfaceofthecrusty plate or remove the food from the plate before cutting. · Donotplaceanyrecipientsonthecrustyplatethatarenotheat-resistant (plastic bowls for example). Place the crusty plate on the metal rack(or turntable) in the microwave. Turn mode selector dial to Combi (Gill or Convection) mode position.

6. Select the cooking time turning the multi function selector as required. Set the cooking time referring to the cooking time in the Manual Crusty Cooking Guide on the 52 page. Result : When cooking has finished, the oven will beep and flash "End" four times. The oven will then beep one time per minute.
how to clean the Crusty plate
Clean the crusty plate with warm water and detergent and rinse off with clean water. Do not use a scrubbing brush or a hard sponge otherwise the top layer will be damaged.
The crusty plate is not dishwasher-safe.
